SHI Funding Program Manager in Somerset, New Jersey
Job Summary
The Program Manager is part of Funding & Community Strategy within Government and Education Affairs. The Program Manager is a subject matter expert in grants, federal funding mechanisms, and USAC-administered programs (ECF, E-rate, Rural Healthcare, Cybersecurity Pilot) and is dedicated to assisting customers in identifying funding for their technology projects.
This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
Strategically prepare SHI for USAC funding programs, accelerate adoption, and to position SHI as a leader in E-Rate, ECF, healthcare, cybersecurity pilot and other USAC programs.
Prepare business reviews for senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our reach in the industry.
Utilize USAC data to better prepare our AEs for E-Rate opportunities.
Develop and conduct account mapping sessions with public sector sales teams to target customers for USAC funding programs spend.
Identify initiatives and solutions to accelerate E-rate adoption and solve problems for customers. Deliver content about USAC funding lifecycles, tasks and operations to ensure program success.
Research market trends and new funding programs to strategically develop success strategies across verticals to educate customers.
Coordinate with the Grants Office to provide customized grant reports.
Research and prepare grants outreach for different locations, verticals and technologies.
Prepare internal and external presentations that highlight specific funding programs.
Deliver internal training to share available resources and services for sales to use as outreach to customers.
Create new content to train program managers and account executives about grants, federal funding mechanisms, and USAC funding programs and internal processes.
Create and make available outreach resources for customer distribution by the AEs to provide engagement opportunities.
Actively engage with sales team to promote awareness of the USAC funding programs and the SHI grant program with our customers.
Participate in individual and group customer calls to assist with USAC funding programs and the SHI grant program.
Build relationships with partners for trainings and general updates throughout the course of the fiscal year and execute on joint activities
Monitor and respond to the funding team’s email aliases.
Identify appropriate content for internal SharePoint pages and external customer-facing materials such as blogs, one-pagers, email templates, webinars, etc.
Coordinate with PS operations, sales, accounting, partners, service providers, legal, proposals, contracts, ASG, other SHI personnel, and the Grants Office.
Analyze data to prepare SHI for USAC funding program business.
Provide guidance to AEs and customers.
Track orders and invoicing
Produce dashboards utilizing PowerBI, and guide internal strategies, resources, and solutions to grow E-rate business and facilitate improvements in internal process.
Data sources include CRM, Funds for Learning, USAC portal, and others as necessary.
Develop and make available the internal vetting list to provide AEs with current E-rate and Rural Healthcare opportunities.
Monitor and track responses to USAC opportunities, orders, invoicing, and reimbursements throughout the process.
Assist in the resolution of internal operational issues such as invoicing for USAC programs, discrepancies with orders being placed by AEs, and others.
Coordinate with accounting as necessary for invoicing and reimbursement resolution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years experience in the public-sector, public-sector sales, or sales support
Minimum 1 year of Program Management experience
Proficiency with data and reporting tools.

Experience working with USAC funding programs such as E-rate

Unique Requirements
Position requires 10% travel throughout the year for team meetings and customer support
Extended hours are required to complete some special projects
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $65,000 - $100,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
