SHI IDCS Operations Demand Planner in Piscataway, New Jersey
Job Summary
The IDCS Operations Demand Planner will be responsible for developing integrated business management processes across all organization functions. This position will report to the Director of Strategy, Planning & Operations. This role will be expected to align and synchronize demand planning with supply chain optimization and shipment planning, to enhance the customer experience. This position will rely heavily on Operational Excellence techniques (i. e. KaizenLean 6 Sigma with working knowledge of Kanban methodologies.) to improve processes and remove delays within our organization, as well as the management of strategic data enhancement projects, primarily in the areas of supply chain and customer master data management. The individual will be tasked with managing initiatives and projects in the areas of process improvement, demand planning, forecast and project planning. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for providing data definitions, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, establishing quality expectations, and monitoring compliance to those expectations.
This position will report to the IDCS Director of Strategy Planning and Operations and is required to report to the SHI Ridge Piscataway, NJ office.

Responsibilities
Included, but not limited to:
Responsible for working with sales, operations, I. T., and finance groups to facilitate the overall management strategy and approach to enhancing processes between functions and managing the supply chain.
Develop shipment planning processes that begin at the time the order is placed.
Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards.
Review project forecasts and timelines to ensure all parties are accounting for equipment lead times and logistics
Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics.
Execute on inventory request and sales order management, providing updates to stakeholders on end presales to ship while adhering to inventory finance policies
Monitor aging inventory and make recommendations for strategy based on pipeline and vendor lead times
Request inventory to meet project requirements and safety stock minimums
Investigate and resolve order issues
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years in a Business Supply Chain, Demand Planning or similar role
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
Required Skills

Ability to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy

Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally andexternally
Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Ability to work with sales teams to help coordinate a resolution to order issues
Strong attention to detail, including time and task management skills
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Basic PC knowledge
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, MS Excel, and Outlook
Previous experience managing ongoing program
Unique Requirements
- Travel required to training and corporate events, up to 10%
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $65,000 - $115,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
