SHI Territory Operations Specialist in Austin, Texas

Job Summary

The Territory Operations Specialist assists and supports the team and customers by processing transactions within the Territory space. The Territory Operations Specialist will learn and carry out various process-driven tasks that include but are not limited to managing communications, placing orders, working in business application software, and fielding requests.

This position will report to the Territory Sales Manager and the Austin, Texas, office location.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data consistency

  • Fielding SHI.com requests from customers

  • Requesting information from vendors, such as invoices, pricing, and order status

  • placing orders, working on Renewal opportunities, creating vendors and parts for AX

  • Order entry, receiving and responding to e-mails, and collecting order status

  • Regular engagement with Inside Sales, Partner teams, and Vendors

  • Process multiple Transactions/Month

  • Upsell/Pivot to increase Order Size

  • Position ARR Services [AWS & Msft]

  • Handle CSATs from angry Clients

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma/GED

  • Self-motivated and willing to learn

Required Skills

  • Ability to absorb new knowledge daily

  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects in an expeditious and comprehensive manner

  • Ability to clearly communicate and effectively work well with others

  • Ability to understand tools: MySHI, AX, BI, CRM, SharePoint, and quoting

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time management and organization skills

  • Desire to learn more new skills

  • Ability to understand and work in the following applications/platforms: Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to understand business tools such as AX, BI, CRM, SharePoint, and quoting

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Customer service or customer-facing experience

  • Well-rounded working knowledge of SHI's tools: MySHI, AX, BI, CRM, SharePoint, and quoting

  • Proficiency in the following applications/platforms:

  • Office: specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Windows OS experience is a plus

Additional Information

  • This position's estimated annual pay range is $40,000 - $100,000. The compensation for this position depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
